Welcome to Filter Free Parents on Substack! My name is Meredith and I’m so glad you found us over here. I hope you’ll stick around and become part of our Substack community. I’m excited to grow this supportive, welcoming space for those of us who need a friend through every stage of parenting.

I started the website Filter Free Parents to create a space that felt like a community. A place for parents to feel like they weren’t alone in what they were experiencing and feeling. This parenting journey is hard. It’s wonderful and life-changing, but it’s also really, really hard. So, I wanted Filter Free Parents to be that go-to place for sharing ideas, frustrations, celebrations, and questions about parenting.

While most of you originally found FFP on my Facebook or other social platforms, I decided we needed a new, more personal space. That’s where Substack comes in.

No more searching socials to find articles, discussions, or topics I’m currently covering. Substack newsletters will be delivered to your email address. The parenting conversation will come right to you.

Because we know parenting is hard. We know things change daily (or hourly) and we know it can overwhelming if you don’t have some support—and a sense of humor. So, we’re here to help.

Filter Free Parents is that honest, real-life, in-the-trenches-with-you buddy we all need. And with that, comes this:
