It’s time for our midweek treat — and we’re including our furry friends in this one. Our featured drink is for you, and our yummy dessert is one for you to make for your canine buddy. Enjoy!
YUM!
This week’s edible treat is for your doggie. Bring the kids in the kitchen and let them help you make some yummy snacks your dog will devour.
Mint and Oat Doggie Treat
Ingredients:
1/2 cup parsley
1/2 cup mint
1 egg
1/2 cup water
3 tablespoons extra-virgin coconut oil
2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
cookie cutters
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 325°.
Combine fresh parsley, mint, egg, water, and extra-virgin coconut oil.
Now add whole wheat flour and combine it to make a ball of dough.
Roll the dough and flatten it to a thickness of 1/8 inch. Cut out the cookies using various cutters; the bone-shaped ones are my personal favorite.
Bake for about 35 minutes and let them cool before serving to your pup.
CHEERS!
The YUM was for your pet, but the CHEERS is for you! This sweet and sour cocktail will warm you up on a cool November evening.
