Happy Hump Day! I hope you’re staying warm, eating your veggies, and getting some Vitamin D each day. (Sorry, a mom’s gotta mom.) And I think you deserve some treats for taking care of ALL THE THINGS in the middle of winter. So grab a mug of hot cocoa and a sweet peanut butter bar (or two) and relax.
CHEERS!
Rich, creamy, chocolatey warmth in a mug is the treat we all need. Make it in the slow cooker, then keep it on Warm so loved ones can scoop more when they need another sip of goodness.
Crock Pot Hot Chocolate
Ingredients:
1 cup heavy cream
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
6 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Marshmallows, small chocolate kisses or chips, and whipped cream for topping (optional)
Instructions:
In a slow cooker, combine the heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, and milk.
Add the vanilla extract and stir well.
Add the semi-sweet chocolate chips to the slow cooker.
Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 2 hours, stirring occasionally until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is well combined.
Once the hot cocoa is ready, serve it in mugs.
If desired, add fun toppings like marshmallows, chocolate kisses, and whipped cream.
YUM!
Chocolate + peanut butter + graham cracker crumbs, and no baking needed. You’re welcome.
