Spiked Eggnog
Ingredients:
4 cups (1 quart) store-bought eggnog (or homemade if preferred)
1 cup bourbon, rum, brandy, or a mix (adjust to taste)
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg (plus extra for garnish)
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract (optional)
Whipped cream (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
In a large pitcher or bowl, mix the eggnog, your chosen spirit(s), nutmeg, cinnamon, and vanilla extract (if using). Stir well until fully combined.
Cover and refrigerate the mixture for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld and to serve it nice and cold.
Pour the spiked eggnog into glasses. If desired, top with a dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle a little nutmeg on top. CHEERS!
