HAPPY HUMP DAY! It’s almost Friday, almost the weekend, almost Easter! Let’s celebrate, shall we?
Let’s start with a Cadbury Creme Cocktail. I think we could all use one of those in our lives. And then, we need a sweet Easter dessert. Our Slow Cooker Carrot Walnut Cake is the perfect simple and sweet treat for your Easter (or any day) celebration. Enjoy!
CHEERS!
We found the yummiest Easterish cocktail on Liquor.com and had to share! I feel like this could get a little out of hand if you’re (I’m) not careful. :)
Cadbury Creme Cocktail
Ingredients:
2 ounces vanilla vodka
1/2 ounce yellow Chartreuse
1/2 ounce white crème de cacao
1 ounce heavy cream
Garnishes: 1 ounce semisweet or dark chocolate, shaved chocolate, Cadbury creme mini egg
Instructions:
Grate or chop the chocolate and place in a small bowl or rimmed plate. Melt on low heat in the microwave. Dip the rim of the cocktail glass in the chocolate, and chill to set.
Combine the vodka, Chartreuse, crème de cacao, and cream in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well.
Strain into the chocolate-rimmed glass.
Grate additional chocolate curls over the top of the drink.
Top with a Cadbury Creme Mini Egg, cut open to reveal the "yolk."
YUM!
The recipe says the topping is optional, but I think it’s very necessary. The more whipped topping the merrier. YUM!
