Happy Hump Day! Crush some candy canes or peppermint candies and let’s have a little Extra, Extra treat. We absolutely deserve it.

YUM!

America’s favorite cookie + a little holiday addition makes these treats unputdownable.

Peppermint White Chocolate Oreos

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of Oreo cookies

  • 12 oz (1 bag) white chocolate chips or white candy melts

  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies or candy canes

  • Optional: Red and green sprinkles for decoration

Instructions:

  1. Crush peppermint candies or candy canes into small pieces. You can do this by placing them in a zip-top bag and gently pounding with a rolling pin or mallet.

  2. Place white chocolate chips or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 20-30 second intervals, stirring after each, until completely melted and smooth. (Avoid overheating to prevent clumping.)

  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper. Using a fork or dipping tool, dip each Oreo into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it's fully coated. Gently tap off excess chocolate and place the cookie onto the lined baking sheet.

  4. Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies over the coated Oreos while the chocolate is still wet. Add sprinkles if desired.

  5. Let the cookies sit at room temperature or refrigerate them for about 15-20 minutes until the chocolate hardens.

  6. Once the chocolate is set, store the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature or in the fridge for up to a week. YUM!
